Scientists have warned that glaciers in the Himalayas are at risk of disappearing by the year 2035.
Studies by the Indian Meteorological Department suggest the ice is melting faster than before.
The researchers say one glacier Kolahoi in Kashmir receded by more than 20 metres last year while small ones have disappeared entirely.
